Brandon co-founded Belpointe, a Greenwich, Connecticut based family office, with his father Martin Lacoff. As CEO, Brandon oversees the operations for the Real Estate, Financial and Legal Groups. Brandon and his team bring financial, operational and investment expertise to Belpointe’s companies and investments.
Brandon’s finance and accounting experience started at Arthur Andersen, LLP then with Ernst & Young, LLP, in their Mergers and Acquisitions groups. In 2001, he co-founded Belpointe (formerly Belray) and eventually left Ernst & Young in 2004 to focus on Belpointe full-time.
Brandon currently serves on the board of multiple non-profit organizations, such as: The Belpointe Foundation, Youth Services for the Town of Greenwich (joint venture between Town of Greenwich and United Way of Greenwich), and Eagle Hill School Alumni Board.
Brandon holds a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law and a Masters of Business Administration from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business, and a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.
