Chris is responsible for operation and control of Belpointe’s insurance division and is Risk Manager for Belpointe Group Insurance Programs.
Chris began his insurance career, at Lloyd’s of London broking house R.K.Harrison, in the Global Risks team, and Financial Institutions Special Programs division. He left to join an international insurance consultancy team at Albis Associates which was acquired by global services organization X-Changing. Chris later joined the North American MGA division of Price Forbes & Partners Ltd in 2005 and was appointed to an Executive Underwriting role in June 2007 responsible for personal and commercial insurance. In 2013 Chris realized a childhood dream and moved to the United States. He enjoys boating, ice hockey and spending time with his wife and two children.
Chris’s particular expertise is in providing insurance solutions covering specialty risk exposures. He has worked for insurance buyers and underwriting companies employing his knowledge on behalf of a wide range of market segments within personal wealth protection, commercial property operating risk, professional liability, unique A & H, security risk, transportation, natural catastrophe & programs.
Chris received qualified status from the Chartered Insurance Institute with completion of Diplomas in Insurance Practice, Regulation & Law. He has completed the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, Certified Insurance Councilors Institutes, for Commercial Property, Agency Management, Personal Lines, Casualty, Life & Health, and is a licensed claims adjuster and producer for Property, Casualty, Accident & Health.
